Designer Info
Liliana Esquivia was born in Cereté. A small town located in the state of Cordoba in Colombia. Her mission is to create a collection that appeals to the modern woman. Her products are manufactured with resources that are unique to the region. She also strives to improve the quality of life of her community by generating employment opportunities and teaching unique skills to her work force.
Her products utilize fabrics that are manufactured using cotton, hammock, straw and fique. They are handmade in their vast majority by skilled artisans. At the same time, because the materials are hand dyed, hand woven, and hand knitted, the patterns and colors of the resulting fabrics are never the same. Therefore, each and every product is a one of a kind piece of art.
